Keeping protein in your diet is key. This can be done with lentils, tofu, tempeh, and seitan. Plus, nuts and seeds, among other ingredients, are other good sources.


Utilize your spice rack. Give your diet lots of flavor with some help from herbs and spices.

Use vegetables that are in season when possible. Locally grown, fresh produce has more flavor than items that have been shipped cross country (or farther).


Add more flavor to dishes using healthy fats, such as extra virgin olive oil.
