As winter wears on, the lure of comfort food becomes even stronger. One of the best ways to make dinner a comforting meal is serving a homemade sauce or gravy.


Mashed potatoes topped with turkey gravy, braised lamb with a warm compote, or steamed cauliflower drizzled with cheese sauce. All of these foods fill our bellies and warm our soul.
