Holiday baking ideas

It’s cooking baking time! Whether you’re making cookies to share with your colleagues, give as gifts to friends and family, or just to eat at home, I have six of my favorite recipes to share

Sugar Cookies– These are the kind where you roll them out, cut out all sorts of shapes, and decorate. It’s a fun way to spend some time with your kids, no matter their age.

Zimsterne– This is a recipe that goes back to my great grandmothers and maybe ever farther. To me they taste like childhood; for most everyone else I’m assuming you’ll enjoy the walnuts and baking spices.

Almond Joy Cookies– Do you like coconut, almonds, and milk chocolate? These are the cookies for you!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies– These aren’t your stick a peanut butter cup in the cookie sort of treat. Nope, they’re cookies made to mimic a peanut butter cup. You’re welcome.

Chocolate Bottom Macaroons– Did the Almond Joy Cookies not have enough coconut for you? This recipe will fill all of your coconut cravings, I promise.

Cinnamon Cereal Cookies– The holidays are the time for indulgence. With these cookies, you can eat one for breakfast but assure others you’re just having some cereal.

If these aren’t enough inspiration, check out two other favorites of mine: Soft Sugar Cookies and Chewy Spiced Sugar Cookies.

Happy baking!
