Low in carbs, high in flavor, these mini tarts make for easy appetizers
I almost always have lavash in my pantry. When I don’t, I’m bound to have some sort of wrap available. Either of these will work just fine as the crust for these mini tarts. Meant to be simple and healthy-ish, these are fine little treats that can be made quickly on a weeknight.
Mini Mushroom Tarts– Mushrooms and cheese in one handheld snack? Yes, please! I’d be glad to eat a handful of these, if I didn’t have to share.
Caramelized Onion & Bacon Mini Tarts– Bacon gets most people interested. Add some caramelized onions, and it’s hard to refuse one more.
Leek & Goat Cheese Mini Tarts– Although leeks may not be the first ingredient to come to mind for an appetizer, wait they’re sautéed until tender and mixed with goat cheese. It’s the new pairing you’ll crave.
