Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, Boston, MA

by TT on February 16th, 2012 | Restaurant Reviews
Last Sunday I was invited to dine at Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro.  Bringing my husband as my dining companion, we headed to Boston on a cold and blustery February afternoon.  The warmth of the food, staff, and atmosphere definitely helped erase the memories of the cold outdoors.

We arrived in Boston early and spent some time shopping on Charles Street.  However, with the cold temperatures, we decided to cut our shopping short and head to the restaurant early.  They graciously seated us 30 minutes earlier than our reservation.  This didn't seem like an inconvenience, as we were the

Olé Mexican Grill, Cambridge, MA

by TT on February 2nd, 2012 | Restaurant Reviews
On an evening without kids in our company, what better way is there to spend the evening than a leisurely dinner for two at a restaurant?  With last Friday being one of those nights, I graciously accepted the offer to dine at Olé Mexican Grill.  Not only would it be a romantic dinner for two, but it also would allow us to try a new-to-us restaurant.

We arrived at Olé about 30 minutes prior to our reservation.  However, we were able to be seated promptly.  The restaurant was packed but well-staffed, which seemed to keep all of the patrons

36 deLux Restaurant, Manchester, NH

When a perennial favorite ceases to exist, it is often difficult to fill the void.  For 36 deLux, that has not held true.  Located in the home of the former Richard's Bistro, 36 deLux has done a terrific job of providing the same excellent quality of food, service, and atmosphere that its predecessor did.  Of course, the new owner previously was a chef at Richard's, which may help account for the smooth transition.

Since its opening in November 2011, I have dined there on two different occasions.  The first was a business lunch, which gave me a small glimpse

China Blossom, North Andover, MA

by TT on January 19th, 2012 | Restaurant Reviews
This past Sunday I was invited to dine at China Blossom with a guest.  Thus, I asked my husband to join me for an evening of what I hoped would be good dining.

We arrived shortly before our reservation time of 7:00.  The restaurant was busy, with most of the tables full.  We were able to be seated early and were given a booth.  We had the option of ordering off the menu or partaking in the buffet, and we chose the menu.  Within moments, we were greeted by our waiter who provided water and took our drink order.

Burtons Grill, Nashua, NH

by TT on January 4th, 2012 | Restaurant Reviews
Although Burtons Grill opened at the Pheasant Lane Mall in August, I didn't have (or make) the opportunity to visit it until mid-December.  With lots of presents to be bought at that time of year, I knew I would be spending a decent amount of time at the mall.  With a little planning, I could make the trip into a shopping and dining experience.  As luck and a little bit of scheduling would have it, I was able to dine at Burtons twice within a two-week period.

My first trip to Burtons Grill was on a Friday night.  I
