It’s a recipe usually served with this B&B’s Romantic Caprese Appetizer, but it can also be prepared as a standalone dish, too (like we’ll do here!). Either way you make it, you can thank innkeeper Sandra Booher of Louisiana Cajun Mansion in Youngsville, LA for this edible inspiration. Located in the middle of Cajun Country and 5 minutes from Lafayette, this elegant and comfy inn is situated in the heart of local festivals, Swamp & Alligator Boat Tours, Cajun food, dancing and music. Parmesan Cream Cheese Ball

Ingredients
  1. 1 block cream cheese
  2. 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, fresh grated
  3. 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
  4. 1/4 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  5. 6 tsp. of fresh cracked black pepper
  6. 1/4 cup fresh diced tomatoes
  7. Fresh panko bread crumbs
  8. Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients listed above together forming a large ball.
  2. Then roll the ball in the Panko bread crumbs to coat it.
  3. Serve with bruschetta.
Notes
  1. The cheese ball will take just minutes to whip up and is always a total show stopping appetizer! It’s loaded with fresh tomatoes, Parmesan, and garlic then rolled in crispy Panko breadcrumbs – all served with toasted baguette slices, which equals irresistible deliciousness.
