About two years ago, a cupcake place opened in my hometown called The Cupcake Conspiracy. Since I drive by it quite frequently, I decided to stop in on my day off to treat myself to a cupcake or two.

Immediately upon walking through the front door, I decided that I would become a frequent visitor. Between the cupcake decorations around the bakery and the pastel yellow walls, a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere was created.

With my stomach already craving cupcakes, I walked directly over to the refrigerator to look at the variety of cupcakes behind the glass. There was a wide selection of cupcakes, including two of my absolute favorites displayed: Oreo and Snickers. Glancing over all of my choices, I could hardly decide which cupcake to settle on. I finally decided on the Oreo cupcake, only to return for a  Snickers cupcake.

Both cupcakes were absolutely scrumptious – so moist and tasty that I could practically swallow them without having to chew. I even wanted to order a third cupcake, but finally convinced myself that I had spoiled myself enough for one day.

During my visit, I was fortunate to meet one of the owners of this cupcake bakery, Stevia Lefebvre. She was able to tell me a bit about this business she owns with her mother, making my experience even more special. Stevia told me that all of the cupcakes are baked from scratch on a daily basis, with mother Lisa coming in as early as 5 AM to bake eight different types of cupcakes. Once the cupcakes cool, Stevia comes into the bakery to decorate and frost the cupcakes. The two of them certainly make a terrific pair! Eating these cupcakes was the highlight of my day, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

In addition to selling cupcakes, The Cupcake Conspiracy has an assortment of coffee, both hot and iced, to complete your dessert. Stevia recommended that I try an iced cupcake coffee with my Snickers cupcake, and it added just the perfect amount of sweetness.

If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by The Cupcake Conspiracy. With their variety of cupcake flavors, listed daily on their Facebook page, you’re guaranteed to find a cupcake to satisfy that sweet tooth of yours!
